Brand Overview

Buehler is a global leader in metallography equipment and sample preparation solutions, founded in 1936 by Swiss immigrant Adolph I. Buehler, who saw a need for metallographic sample preparation equipment and optical inspection instruments for the steel and automotive industries in the Midwestern USA. Today Buehler is a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW), a global Fortune 200 company, and is based in Lake Bluff, Illinois.

Buehler manufactures sectioning machines, mounting systems, grinder-polishers, etching systems, image analysis systems and hardness testers, with offices in nine countries, sales distribution in over 100 countries and more than 45 Expert Solutions Centers. In 2011 Wilson Hardness was combined with Buehler, continuing the heritage of Rockwell, Vickers, Knoop and Brinell hardness testing. Buehler operates to ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management principles, serving laboratories in aerospace, automotive, medical device, electronics, energy, steel, research and advanced manufacturing. Ruilianxin sources genuine Buehler equipment and consumables and provides selection, quotation and technical support for the China market.
